Typewritten Poetry & Affirmations

I write because I feel.

When I finally go blind, will I still remember the colours pink and orange?

A young couple stand under a tree at sunset. The colors of the sky are very striking, casting everything in the foreground into shadow. The man leans down to kiss his girlfriend, who is kicking her leg up behind her.

Will the chill of nightfall remind me of sunsets?

Or will I forget the sight of pastel-painted skies in my rearview mirror as I drive forward into darkness?

I perform live typewriter poetry at markets, as well as at special events.
I write based off of emotions, whether they are mine or borrowed from someone else. I write what makes sense in the moment, and hopefully, it’ll still sound good when that moment has passed.

Please reach out to me via my contact page to inquire about special events for me to bring my typewriter to and sling some poems or affirmations.

If you are interested, I’ve zine-style published a chapbook titled Rearview Mirrors and Other Reasons I Stay Inside. I have it for sale at markets or you may reach out to me via my contact page for an online purchase method.
